Privacy Policy
How FieldWyre collects, uses, stores, and protects your information.
Last Updated: May 22, 2026
SUMMARY. FieldWyre, a product of Marcia’s Munchies LLC (“FieldWyre,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the FieldWyre platform, applications, websites, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), how we use and share that information, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected from and about (a) account holders, administrators, and authorized end users of the Service (“Customers”), (b) the customers, leads, and contacts whose records Customers manage within the Service (“Customer Contacts”), and (c) visitors to our websites. For Customer Contacts, the Customer is the data controller and FieldWyre acts as a data processor on the Customer’s behalf — questions about Customer Contact data should be directed to the relevant Customer.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
2.1 Information you provide to us
- Account information: name, email address, business name, business address, phone number, role, password (stored hashed), and similar information you provide when creating or maintaining an account.
- Billing information: billing address and the last four digits and brand of your payment method. Full payment card numbers are collected, processed, and stored by our payment processors (Stripe and, where applicable, Square) — not by FieldWyre.
- Your Content: data you upload, generate, or input into the Service, including but not limited to site records, job records, surveys, floor plans, wiring diagrams, rack designs, quotes, invoices, customer contact details, vendor data, equipment catalogs, photos, and PDFs.
- Communications: the content of messages, emails, or support requests you send to us or send through the Service via integrated channels (e.g., SMS via Twilio, WhatsApp).
2.2 Information we collect automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, actions taken, click events, timestamps, referring/exit pages, and similar interaction data.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, language preferences, time zone, and crash/error logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 9 (Cookies).
- Network monitoring data: when you connect the UniFi integration, we collect device status, IP/MAC addresses, firmware versions, uptime, and similar network telemetry for the network devices at the sites you choose to monitor.
2.3 Information from third parties
- Integrations: when you connect a third-party integration (QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Square, Twilio, UniFi, etc.), we receive data that integration sends to FieldWyre based on the permissions you authorize, including invoices, payment transactions, customer records, network device status, and message delivery confirmations.
- Service providers: we may receive supplemental information from authentication, fraud-prevention, and analytics providers we use to operate the Service.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
- Process transactions, send invoices, and manage subscriptions;
- Authenticate users and secure accounts;
- Provide customer support and respond to requests;
- Send transactional emails (billing receipts, security alerts, service notices);
- Send product updates and marketing communications (you can opt out at any time — see Section 8);
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our EULA or Terms of Service;
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests; and
- For any other purpose disclosed at the time of collection or with your consent.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
4. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA / UK Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal information on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the Service you have signed up for;
- Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the Service, prevent fraud, and conduct internal analytics, where those interests are not overridden by your rights;
- Consent — for marketing communications and certain cookies (you may withdraw consent at any time); and
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests.
5. How We Share Information
We share information only as described below:
- With service providers (sub-processors): third parties that perform services on our behalf and are bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Our current sub-processors include, without limitation:
- Hostinger (web and application hosting)
- Stripe and Square (payment processing)
- QuickBooks Online (accounting integration, only when you connect it)
- Twilio (SMS messaging, only when you use messaging features)
- WhatsApp (messaging, only when you use that channel)
- UniFi / Ubiquiti (network monitoring, only when you connect the integration)
- Email service providers for transactional and marketing email
- Cloud storage and backup providers
- Analytics, error-monitoring, and security providers
- With your direction: when you authorize a third-party integration, we share the data necessary to operate that integration.
- With other users of your account: Customers can grant access to their account to additional users (employees, subcontractors); those users will have access to Your Content as configured by the Customer’s account administrator.
- For legal reasons: when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of FieldWyre, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our assets, in which case information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the protections of this Privacy Policy or a successor policy with equivalent protections.
- With your consent: any other sharing will be done only with your consent.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Service to you. After you close your account, we retain Your Content for a reasonable period (typically up to 90 days) to allow recovery in case of accidental deletion, after which it is deleted from active systems. Backups containing residual data may persist for up to twelve (12) months before rotation. We may retain certain records longer where required by law (e.g., tax, accounting, fraud-prevention) or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Correction: request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Deletion: request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions;
- Portability: request a copy of your information in a structured, machine-readable format;
- Restriction or objection: request that we restrict or stop certain processing of your information;
- Withdraw consent: withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
- Lodge a complaint: file a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise these rights, email privacy@fieldwyre.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. If you are a Customer Contact, please direct your request to the Customer whose account holds your record; we will assist that Customer in responding.
7.1 California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the rights described above and additionally have the right to (a) know what categories of personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, and sold or shared; (b) opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — FieldWyre does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising; and (c) be free from discrimination for exercising privacy rights. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@fieldwyre.com.
8. Communications Preferences
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing message or by emailing privacy@fieldwyre.com. We may continue to send you transactional and service-related messages (billing receipts, security alerts, policy updates, support responses) that are necessary to operate the Service even if you opt out of marketing.
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage, pixels, and session identifiers) to operate the Service, remember your preferences, authenticate sessions, secure accounts, measure usage, and improve performance. Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings; however, disabling cookies may degrade certain features of the Service. For more detail, see our Cookie Policy.
10. Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption of data in transit (TLS), encryption at rest where applicable, access controls, password hashing, regular backups, and limited employee access on a need-to-know basis. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting the confidentiality of your account credentials.
11. International Data Transfers
FieldWyre is based in the United States, and we and our sub-processors operate primarily in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to such transfer. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to lawfully transfer personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to the United States.
12. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for use by businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided personal information to us, please contact privacy@fieldwyre.com and we will take steps to delete it.
13. Third-Party Websites
The Service may contain links to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
14. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no industry consensus on how to respond to such signals, and the Service currently does not respond to them.
15. Automated Decision-Making
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing of personal information that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through an in-Service notice. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
